Got a question, found a bug, or just want to say hi? We’d like to hear from you.

We try to respond within a couple of business days. If it’s about a word that you think should (or shouldn’t) be in the game, definitely let us know — the word list is something we actively maintain.

Common Topics

“The game isn’t loading” — Try clearing your browser cache or opening the site in a private/incognito window. The game runs entirely in your browser, so most issues are cache-related.

“I lost my stats” — Game stats are stored in your browser’s local storage. If you cleared your browser data, switched browsers, or switched devices, the stats won’t carry over. Unfortunately there’s no way to recover them since we don’t store anything server-side.

“A word in the game isn’t real” — We curate the word list carefully, but mistakes happen. Let us know which word it was and we’ll review it.

“Can I use this in my classroom?” — Absolutely. The game is free and doesn’t require any accounts or personal information. Teachers are welcome to use it as a vocabulary exercise.
